Sunday Salon

Ahh..the first Sunday of the New Year.  I love being able to start fresh.  I haven't been reading much this holiday break, way to much running around.

Shanghai GirlsI finished my first book of 2010 yesterday, Shanghai Girls by Lisa See. I loved it, and it was a great start to my 2010 reading.  My review should be up in a couple of days, keep a lookout for it.
City of Bones (Mortal Instruments, #1)I'm currently reading City of Bones by Cassandra Clare.  I'll be able to use this for almost all my challenges i'm in this year...gotta love that.  I'm enjoying it so far, luckily I have book 2 sitting on my end table so i'll be able to jump right into that one, if I want to.
On the blog front I have major ADD. I can't seem to settle on layout, and template.  I really wish I knew how to mess around with the HTML.  I'll keep what I have up right now for awhile, because I'm just so tired to messing with it.  I was also thinking of organizing my reviews alphabetically and by year read, but it seems so daunting, and time consuming.  Is doing something like that easier for readers to go back and check out previous reviews?   If anyone has any suggestions for me on making my blog better please let me know.  You can email me at jjameli(at)cableone(dot)net.  I would love to hear your input.

Shout out to the Texas Longhorns who will be playing January 7th in the National Championship.  I will be glued to my TV eating chicken wings (mmm...love it) hopefully watching Texas kick some "Bama" butt.  No offense to Alabama peeps. LOL!

Have a great week ahead!

  1. I loved Shanghai Girls! My favorite of 2009.

I don't know about the categorizing the reviews thing. I had thought about it too but it just seems so time consuming and I was wondering if it would beneficial or not.
